Simple Admit Receives Honor

Simple Admit, LLC, took top honors for Innovations in Healthcare as part of the 6th Annual Excellence in Healthcare Awards, according to an October 17 company release.

“We are honored by the recognition and pleased that the innovative work Simple Admit is doing has positively affected patient care at medical facilities nationwide,” said Daniel Coholan, president and chief executive officer of Simple Admit, in the release. “We have an amazing team of people who truly care about making our clients happy and building successful partnerships.”

Simple Admit received the recognition for technology that enhances the patient experience across the continuum of care. The company’s focus is to help medical facilities do business better with software and services that streamline patient admissions, bill payment, surveys and patient-provider communications. The technology makes it easy to engage patients in the health-care process and enable them to control their health information.

“When we started the company six years ago, our intention was to help medical facilities automate laborious and costly processes so nurses and staff could focus on patients instead of paperwork,” explained Mike Horning, executive vice president, in the release. “What we soon realized was that even the best technology was not as important to our clients as our personalized support. We now think of ourselves as a service company that happens to sell great technologies.”

The Innovations in Healthcare Award is presented annually to a company that has developed cutting-edge and creative technology that positively affects health care. Simple Admit was selected from more than 50 companies that were nominated for awards. The 6th Annual Excellence in Healthcare Awards will be presented October 26 at the OnCenter in Syracuse, New York.
