Regent Surgical Health Names New CDO

Regent Surgical Health announced in a November 30 release that Thomas Crossen has joined the company as chief development officer.

Thomas Crossen

Crossen’s experience includes more than a decade of health care leadership including responsibility for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and health system partnership strategies. Most recently, he served as vice president of development at National Cardiovascular Partners in Houston. In his new role at Regent Surgical Health, Crossen will strengthen Regent’s business strategy and drive growth for Regent’s ASC management portfolio.

Prior to his experience in the health care industry, Crossen served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps for nine years: four years in active duty in Afghanistan and Fallujah, Iraq, and five years in the Marine Corps Reserve. Upon completion of his military service, he earned a master of business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

“Regent sees where the health care market is going and is well-positioned for continued growth,” Crossen said in the release. “Like Regent, I believe partnerships with hospitals will be essential as an outpatient platform becomes more critical in the value-based care healthcare environment. The company’s leadership is strong, and I’m excited to join a team with an impressive track record for growth and a foundation that is unmatched.”
