The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) did not make significant changes to its ASC Quality Reporting (ASCQR) Program for 2023, but over the past two years of rulemaking the agency did make changes that are relevant to ASCs. This is especially true given the resumed data collection for four outcomes measures that have been part of the ASCQR Program since the program’s inception in 2012, ASC-1 through ASC-4.
