Updated Medicare Rate Calculator Available in April

In April, ASCA will update its 2019 Medicare Rate Calculator to reflect second- quarter changes to the ASC payment rates. This free, members-only resource helps you determine national and local payment rates for the procedures your ASC performs. Quarterly changes are made primarily to reimbursement rates for many of the ancillary codes.

Prepare for CMS Surveys During Upcoming ASCA Webinar

Hear firsthand from a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) official about the agency’s ASC survey process during the upcoming ASCA webinar “CMS Surveys,” on Tuesday, April 9, at 1:00 pm ET. During this hour-long program, attendees will examine the role of state agencies and the accreditation organizations, discuss the current infection control worksheet and review how to be prepared for both expected and unexpected surveys. This webinar is $100 for ASCA members and $150 for nonmembers; it also is included in the 2019 Webinar All-Access Pass.
