NJAASC Elects New Officers to Its Board of Directors

The New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (NJAASC) has elected new officers to its board of directors: Jeff Shanton of Journal Square Surgical Center as president; Meg Stagliano, RN, of Seashore Surgical Institute as vice president; Caroline Ivanovski-Hauser of Bergen-Passaic Eye Surgery Center as treasurer; and Sheila McAteer of Virtua as secretary.

The announcement follows the May 2019 election of two new members to NJAASC's board: Melissa Bushnell of Atlanticare and Shelia McAteer of Virtua. Other NJAASC board members include: Edmund Abramovitz of The Alexander Group Consultants; Sharon Gelardi, RN, of The Gastro Surgi Center of New Jersey; Michael Graziano, CASC, of Clifton Surgery Center; Joan McKibben RN, CASC, of Ambulatory Surgical Center of Somerset; and Andrew Weiss, CASC, of Summit Surgical and NJAASC immediate past president.
