Regent Surgical Hires New Vice President

Brad Pollard

Regent Surgical Health of Westchester, Illinois, hired Brad Pollard as its new vice president of business development, according to a January 29 press release. In his new role, Pollard will work closely with physician groups and hospital systems to merge, acquire and develop ASCs.

“Brad’s experience with both ASC partnerships and medical devices, and especially devices for orthopedic and spine procedures, will be extremely valuable as Regent continues to grow with the rapidly advancing shift of total joint replacement procedures from hospitals to the outpatient setting," said Thomas Crossen, chief development officer of Regent, in the release. "With a proven track record in sales leadership, he’ll be a key player supporting our growth objectives in 2020.”

Pollard was most recently regional sales manager at Nuvectra in Plano, Texas. He joined Nuvectra following a four-year stint as regional vice president of development at United Surgical Partners International, where he led development and overall growth strategy in the company’s Houston market. Previously, Pollard spent eight years at Boston Scientific Neuromodulation as Houston-based regional sales manager, responsible for the sale of its spinal cord stimulator system to neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons and interventional pain specialists.

Pollard earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University.
